What's Required To Become Whiskers & Tails Affiliate Partner?
1. Whiskers & Tails Basic Training
We require applicants to complete our basic training program which is a 3-day program based at our Bedford HQ, consisting of both on the job training & classroom based teachings, prior to being granted affiliation.
2. Proof of Insurance
Affiliates will be required to submit proof of public liability insurance & employers liability insurance. Insurance can be purchased from a variety of companies. Whiskers & Tails are happy to provide recommendations should you require it.
Once you are affiliated, you will need to have a live website before we will be able to link you on the Whiskers & Tails website. This is both ours & yours primary vehicle for promotion; therefore, we expect you maintain a good site. Please do not register a domain with the Whiskers & Tails name in it, until after your affiliate application has been approved; Whiskers & Tails is a licensed trademark and its use without our prior permission is illegal. 4. DBS Clearances & Reference Checking
Our first priority is the safety & well being of all animals. Due to the nature of what we do, we have very high standards as to who we recruit and only those with clean backgrounds are able to join our brand. We expect both professional & personal references to be provided as well as carrying out a DBS check on your behalf.
5. Financial Investment
There is an initial cost to set up as an affiliate as well as annual renewal payments. Please see our costs page for more details .
